The idea for the singers began on a run with a group of neighbors, brainstorming about ways to bring more music into the neighborhood. We are a group of neighbors who formed a choir and practice on Saturday afternoons, often at the Guthrie, sometimes at the American Academy of Neurology. JD Steele is our director, and his brother Fred is the accompanist.

We sang at Holidazzle, the MacPhail Music Matters Luncheon, and will be singing 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' at the Minnesota Twins game on August 11th.  Stay tuned for news about our next session of rehearsals, but make plans now to come sing with us . . .the only requirement is a desire to make music with your neighbors.
